Between the Neon – Design all-rounder

Here comes the second blog for the ‘favorites list’: Between the Neon. Between the Neon is the ‘design, photography and personal stuff’-blog of lovely Erin Joy. Filled with a lot of different topics about design and beautiful things in general Between the Neon is a true all-rounder, as much as Erin. Erin was born in Australia, raised in Hong Kong, studied Graphic Design in London, went back to Sydney to found her design studio BringMeJoy and is now settled in Cape Town, where she is busy setting up a kids clothing company with her brother called lil’sprout and planning her wedding. She is designing all the printed stuff (invites, menus, cards…) by herself and the goal is to give the guests a massive graphic overload. I say, go for it!

Between the Neon came to life, when Erin decided to bring her ‘digital sketchbook’ (a folder on her computer filled with tons of images of design, photography and illustrations she liked and used as inspiration source) online. She also uses the blog to bring together her creative friends and showcasting the various projects they’ve been working on. Good for us. Between the Neon is part of my daily lecture and I warmly recommend all my readers a daily dose of Between the Neon.

In her own words:
You’ll find amazing design, beautiful illustration, photography that makes you sigh, sweet things for your home, work by my awesome friends and occasionally bits and bobs from me.
